An ongoing series of work started in mid 2017 examining the usage of the word "no" by the artist and the frequency with which it was ignored in various situations. Each hoop has layers of detail that are tactile and meant to be inviting and desirable to touch. Layers of different traditional stitches comprise each hoop to fill it to the edges so it fills the visual and literal space. The works will be sealed with resin to ensure that they cannot be touched.

For the month of February, 2018 Amy has been exploring miniature motifs that are all under 1.5".
These freeform, hand-sewn works are inspired by the inner rings of a tree and how that reflects the passage of time. The stitches are intentionally visible to highlight the amount of time that goes into each piece.
